Welcome your new joiner with a personal touch
Preboarding is one phase of the employee lifecycle that won’t change dramatically when it comes to remote hires. But, once an offer has been accepted and contracts signed, it’s a good idea to send your new joiner a welcome email.
This email should include all the information they’ll need to get off to a great start. Be sure to include information like dress codes and what they need to do ahead of their first day. This will help settle their nerves and clear up any questions before they join.
- Updates on IT equipment
- First day overview and what to expect
- Dress code policy
- Introductions to the team
