Setting up your virtual preboarding process
Preboarding has often been done over a series of emails, letters, and phone calls. However, as your new joiner won’t physically be in the office on their first day, you will need to use this time to ensure they have all of the equipment and access right they need so that on day one, they are ready to start.
Sending a survey out to your new joiner ahead of their start date is a great way to collect the necessary information that will help you write their bio and organize their home office setup; it also enables you to discover some fun facts that will help you personalize their onboarding experience.
